Ryan is a registered architect and a LEED AP with 14 years’ experience developing architecture projects throughout Alaska. He has in-depth experience with projects having completed design projects in every region of the state. His design was the only finalist from Alaska, selected out of 109 entries, for the Aleutian Housing Authorities Living Building Challenge competition. He also managed the architecture and LEED submittal process for the Barrow Weather Station Office, which reigns as the most northern LEED-Silver building in the world. Along with proficiency in architectural design and detailing he is well versed in sustainable practices and structural concepts, systems and detailing and is proficient in the use of contemporary tools, such as Revit and BIM technology, which complement his experience in sustainable design. Mr. Wrocklage recognizes the design process as a collaboration of ideas and encourages a multi-disciplinary approach to find solutions while not losing sight of clients’ goals.
